Bengbu Shenzhou Machinery Co., Ltd. (formerly Anhui Bengbu Shipyard), established in 1938, has a history of over 80 years and completed its restructuring in 2001. The company is located at No. 199, Longhuai South Road, Bengbu Economic Development Zone, with over 350 employees. It is a ship repair and construction enterprise in the Huai River Basin. The company is a national-level "Little Giant" enterprise specializing in niche markets, a high-tech enterprise, and a provincial "Two-Industrialization Integration Demonstration Enterprise". It has a provincial enterprise technology center and a provincial industrial design center. As a national second-class Type II steel shipbuilding enterprise, it possesses advanced and complete shipbuilding facilities and equipment, as well as the capability to design and manufacture various types of inland and coastal vessels. It is one of the few all-round enterprises in the province with qualifications for steel, fiberglass, and aluminum shipbuilding, as well as ship design and repair.
The company's products mainly include tugboats, dredgers, car and passenger ferries, diving workboats, fiberglass yachts, etc. Among them, the inland LNG-powered tugboats and diving workboats have been recognized as the first batch of major technical equipment in Anhui Province. The product quality is at the international first-class level and enjoys a high reputation both at home and abroad.
